Why Should You
Build Your Own Solar Panel?
If you are one of many millions of people beginning to
question whether or not you should be held hostage to the
power companies then read on. If you've
already decided to take your power back, no
pun intended, and just want to research cost effective
ways that you can build your own solar panel, then
have a look at these reviews of some of the top
players in the industry for do it yourself solar
panels.
The New York Times, CNN, CNET, AOL, Google,
NBC, and many other venerable news media have been
profiling energy entrepreneurs and asking them about the
secrets to
building your own solar and wind power
generators. In many cases, when
professional installation is required, the expense of
hiring out the job exceeds the benefit of installing a home
generator. But... what if you did it yourself? Can you save
thousands AND go green at the same time?
Apparently this is the case! Making a solar panel can be as
simple as baking a pie as long as instructions are laid out
in simple language everyday people can understand. Let's
face it. Anyone who's been interested in going green and
started doing research on building your own solar panel has
read documents that sound like they came from NASA. I think
I gave up at step one. I'm personally NOT a rocket
scientist or married to one. Well as it turns out, you just
need a really smart guy who speaks every day language in
order to be able to build your own solar panels.
And just why should I make the effort to do that you ask?
Well, there is of course the altruistic reasons such as
preserving the earth for future generations. Can you
imagine how much we can each reduce our impact to the
envirornment if we built our own electric generators?
Imagine if because you decided to build your own solar
panel, and every month you generated 1000 pollution free
watts of energy, how many tons of coal will not be spewed
into our fragile atmosphere because you made green energy?
Did you know that it's even possible to get a financial
reward for doing the right thing? Several states are giving
tax incentives for you to build your own solar panel.
However, even if you do not reside in such states, it still
may be a profitable decision for you. How you ask? Well,
imagine that you consume less energy than is banked by your
solar panel batteries, you can save that energy for leaner
times or guess what? You can sell that back to the electric
companies! That's right! Your surplus energy can be resold
to the electric companies that will resell your green
energy for a premium. How cool would that be to get a
negative bill from the electric company? Isn't it about
time? Can you imagine getting a power company to pay you
for doing the right thing?
Not everyone generates a surplus, but if you do decide to
build your own solar panel, you will more likely than not
reduce your power bill. A reduction of 50% is not unheard
of and there are those who are efficient enough that their
power bills are completely eliminated.
Whether you are interested in learning to build your own
solar panels for altruistic reasons or for capitalistic
reasons, you absolutely need to plan for it. The first step
is research. You should at the very least read these
reviews about the top kits available for you to build your
own solar panels.
Happy Trails Fellow Earth Guardians!
